Lamppost’s only mission is to partner with a balanced action plan based on its own skills and capability, voluntarily for local, national, international, social and humanitarian development. The launch of Lamppost, the social and humanitarian welfare organization, has begun with the noble purpose of solving the various problems and possibilities of the society.
What We Do

Mission
"Red & Green"
Lamppost's ten-year project "Mission Red & Green" has crossed the fifth year. The main objective of this ongoing project is to plant krishnachaura trees (Flame Tree) on all roads of Pirganj upazila of Thakurgaon district by the 2025. In addition to protecting the balance of the environment, the natural beauty of the city will be greatly enhanced. A green city will be built for the next generation. Birds, various insects and other small animals will find shelter in these trees, thus protecting biodiversity.
Free Medical
Health Checkup
In remote villages, distressed senior citizens are deprived of regular health checkups and essential health messages. Many of them are bedridden with illness. Moreover, our rural women work relentlessly day after day with a sick body. People in both categories are neglected in rural poor families. The Lamppost team, along with experienced doctors, is trying to stand by these people. Lamppost's free healthcare program is underway.
Free Winter
Clothes Distribution
Thakurgaon district is located in the north of the country. Like the northern part of the country, winter does not occur anywhere else in the country. Due to the remote area, low-income underprivileged people live throughout the district. Due to lack of necessary and suitable winter clothes, the poor and needy people of the region get severe hardship in winter. The elderly and children suffer more. Lamppost is distributing quality blankets and lep (heavy blanket) to these disadvantaged and helpless people every year. Lamppost preparations continue throughout the year to withstand the winter season.
Future Genius
Lamppost provides financial assistance to the poor and disadvantaged students who are poor but talented or who are very interested in pursuing education. In addition, Lamppost organizes a grand reception program called "Future Genius" every year to inspire talented students. The reception was organized with the highest achievement of the public examination and the students having the opportunity to study in public universities and medical colleges.
